Denali Field Retreats
With the National Park Service, Alaska Geographic has designed these new retreats to provide a more ‘COVID-appropriate’ learning experience in the heart of Denali at our field camp along the Teklanika River. The three-day retreat includes a road permit to access the Teklanika field camp and exclusive use of one tent cabin and an assigned picnic table. Shared facilities include restrooms, water spigot, outdoor kitchen area, trashcans, food storage shed, fire ring, and a 20’ yurt. A field camp host will be available at all times. The second day of the retreat will focus on the emphasis topic and include a guided walk and/or activities with a park scientist. Each primary registrant may bring up to 3 additional people in their vehicle, yet limitations may apply, based on the total program attendance.
