NOLS Interest Alaska Geographic is a proud partner of the National Outdoor Leadership School's (NOLS) “Peak Scholars” program. This means that Alaska Geographic has the opportunity to nominate a teen from our youth programs for full scholarships to participate in a NOLS course, which takes people on incredible expeditions to remote parts of Alaska and beyond. On these courses, students learn leadership skills and outdoor skills like backpacking and/or sea kayaking.
