Teacher Course Travel Information

Name(Required)
The Floating Teachers Course start date is 8am on June 13 in Seward. We have hotel rooms reserved in Seward on June 12 and are able to provide transportation from Anchorage the afternoon of June 12. Our course ends late afternoon on June 20 and we can provide transportation back to Anchorage this evening.

If you will be flying into Anchorage, please arrange for lodging in Anchorage the night of June 20. Please do not book flights that are dependent on the group arriving in Anchorage at a certain time on June 20, as any delay on the boat or highway could lead to a missed flight. A late night flight (post 10p) will likely be okay, but again, we cannot guarantee your arrival to the airport on time. We are happy to drop you off at your lodging.

If you will be driving to Anchorage to meet our van on June 12, please note that we do not have overnight parking at our office. Please arrange an overnight parking reservation, we are happy to pick you up and drop you off at that location.

We aim to be leaving Anchorage on June 12th in the late afternoon, but can be flexible based on our group's travel schedule. We strongly prefer to not leave Anchorage later than 6pm.
Our course begins the evening of June 6th at 4:00pm with a 2-hour trip orientation at our Anchorage office, 421 W 1st Ave. We provide all travel, lodging, and food starting June 7th. Our course ends the evening of June 12th at our Anchorage office.
