For the past 64 years, and with the support of friends like you, we have stood steadfast in supporting programs and projects on Alaska’s public lands. Your ongoing support extends these programs’ reach, affording the opportunities for visitors to experience these lands more deeply with every gift.
Your gift supports critical programs and projects on Alaska’s national conservation lands, forests, parks, and refuges connecting all people to the land and its’ history in meaningful, life-changing ways. Here are some projects you’re supporting:
- Providing visitors with the resources to learn more about the places they visit, including publications, arts programs, and educational events
- Funding our youth programs that engage, educate, and form communities of young people through outdoor recreation on public lands at no cost to the student. Programs range from kayaking to backpacking expeditions in Alaska’s wildest places.
- Funding internships and volunteer projects that improve trails, public outreach, research, and virtual experiences
- Innovative virtual and self-guided learning in collaboration with our partners at the National Park Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
